These simple 3 ingredient Dark Chocolate Raspberry Popsicles are bursting with fresh sweet raspberries. Made with 100% pure fruit and dipped in dark chocolate, they’re a healthy and delicious dessert!
Originally I planned to make these popsicles with fresh cherries (sort of like a black forest cake popsicle) but by the time I got around to making the recipe cherries were no longer in season! Instead I chose raspberries and oh how delicious they turned out!
I prefer using fresh raspberries for this recipe since they usually have more flavour and sweetness than frozen ones. You can also try this recipe with any fresh fruit that is in season near you. Strawberry, blueberry, peach, mango – would all be delicious! Just puree your sweet fresh fruit and pour it into your favourite popsicle molds (btw are you loving these chocolate bar shaped ones as much as I am!?)
When dipping the popsicles, transfer the melted chocolate into a glass jar that is just slightly larger than a popsicle. Using a glass jar makes it a lot easier to store and reheat the melted chocolate since there will be some leftover.
It only takes a few seconds after dipping the frozen pops into the melted chocolate for it to harden – and then it’s time to enjoy! If you want to make a bigger batch or make these ahead of time, store the dipped pops on a lined baking sheet/container in the freezer.

Dark Chocolate Raspberry Popsicles
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh raspberries
- 300 grams dark chocolate about 3 standard bars
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional
Instructions
- Wash the raspberries thoroughly and place into a blender. Blend until smooth. Taste if the raspberries are too tart and add a bit of maple syrup or liquid sweetener of choice. Blend again.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle moulds and tap on the counter to release any air bubbles. Place in the popsicle sticks. Freeze for 3-4 hours, until set or overnight.
- Once the popsicles are frozen, it's time to melt the chocolate. Place the chocolate and the coconut oil in a large bowl and place it on top of a small pot filled 1/3 of the way up with water (double boiler method). Bring the water to a low boil. Stir the chocolate periodically. It should melt in about 7-10 minutes. As it's melting line a baking sheet or freezer safe container with parchment paper and set aside.
- Once the chocolate is melted pour it into a glass jar that is just slightly larger than a popsicle. Remove the popsicles from the freezer and let sit on the counter for a few minutes. Remove them from the mold and dip each one into the chocolate. The chocolate will harden in about 1 minute. Place them onto the lined pan/container and place back in the freezer or enjoy right away!
